About three-quarters of survey respondents said medical cannabis has helped them cope with their PTSD, a report released Thursday by the Minnesota Department of Health shows. And about seven in 10 respondents reported “clinically meaningful improvement” on a tool that measures the severity of PTSD symptoms.

Researchers surveyed 751 PTSD patients who enrolled in the program in the five months after their condition was added. Though PTSD is often linked to military service, just 19 percent of respondents came from that background.

According to healthcareinamerica.us PTSD can develop following a traumatic event such as being in combat or experiencing a life threatening moment like a natural disaster or assault. This leads to lingering memories and difficulty sleeping as well as functioning normally while at work or in school. Not only that, but an individual may experience major emotional change and perception of the world, and these symptoms can make it just about impossible to maintain a standard quality of life.

Typically, those who suffer from the various symptoms for more than several months are at risk of developing PTSD. Psychotherapy and medication are available to help PTSD patients suffering from emotional instability and possibly substance abuse, and cannabis has emerged as another way to help them cope, not to mention providing a safer alternative to prescription medication that can have serious side effects.

A study conducted by NYU Langone Medical Center researchers showed that people suffering from PTSD have much lower levels of a neurotransmitter called anandamide than others. Anandamide is one of the body’s primary endocannabinoids, meaning natural cannabinoids produced by the body. These operate in a similar way to cannabis by stimulating the endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for core functions such as mood, happiness, fear, and anxiety.

What is PTSD?

PTSD was officially recognized as a legitimate mental disorder in 1980. According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), the psychological “manual” for all clinical professionals, PTSD diagnosis requires the following criteria:

  1. Stressor (Direct or Indirect): Patient exposure to death, threats, injury, violence, etc.
  2. Intrusion: Re-experience or recurrence of the circumstances via memories, nightmares, flashbacks, etc.
  3. Avoidance: Intentional avoidance of trauma-related thoughts, feelings, or external conditions.
  4. Negative Cognition / Mood: Exaggerated blame, isolation, negative thoughts, and difficulty recalling features of the trauma.
  5. Negative Arousal: Irritable, aggressive, risky, hyper-vigilant moods and behavior.
  6. Duration: Symptoms must last for at least one month or longer.
  7. Function: Symptoms cause social or work related issues.
  8. Exclusion: Symptoms must not be due to substance abuse, medications, or other involved illnesses.

Big Pharma can’t patent a plant and is willing to spend Billions to keep people from using natural CBD, although they have received a patent for synthetic cbd which they approve highly of.  Then there are the God haters that have literally spent thousands of years under direct supervision of Satan to remove God from schools and media, that don’t want people to believe that God created the body to heal itself and also created the herbs and plants to make it possible.  Don’t forget the Law Enforcement growth industry that currently has the State of Idaho holding a semi-truck load of hemp that they have charge the driver with possession of the largest marijuana case in history even after President Trump signed the Farm Bill making hemp legal in all 50 states.   Further,  the U.S. Military has a zero tolerance; one strike and you’re out policy when it comes to cannabis consumption. Perhaps in part due to this, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, or VA for short, neither advertises nor advocates the use of cannabinoids as a treatment for PTSD despite mounting evidence in support of their efficacy in treatment. Another reason behind this could be the kickbacks or sponsorship dollars VA doctors receive from pharmaceutical companies.

The United States government has spent billions in bribes and subsidies to Hollywood producers, news media, and others to paint a dark picture of hemp.  When parents found that cbd helped epilepsy immediately, the government response was to send armed police to arrest or kill those parents that would attempt to save the life of their child or even to make it a bit more comfortable.

One thing for sure is that cbd oil derived from hemp has already beed approved by the FDA and is basically a plant extract.  To not at least try it is a silly choice.  You can purchase a sample pack of CBD products for the cost of shipping only at: http://trycbdmoneyback.com  Also, if you are interested in building a business and earning a second income stream you can visit http://BestHome.Business and take a free tour to see if it is for you.
